grow equipment 400w ballast bulb combo

hydrofarm 400watt powerhouse ballast/ ceramic metal halide bulb combo. (hyrdrofarm ballast model #57363) ( bulb is phillips master color 400 watt ceramic metal halide)
these are 400w powerhouse hps ballast, these are 110/220v hps only ballasts (not switchable) but they are capable of running certain metal halide conversion bulbs that are specifically designed to run on hps ballasts.
fortunately there are at least 2 excellent conversion bulbs that fit this category,
1. the phillips mastercolor 400w ceramic metal halide is designed to run on hps ballasts and is an excellent veg bulb,
2. also ushio "hi lux gro optiblue" are an excellent veg/flower bulb, designed to run specifically on hps ballasts
3. of course there is always the 3rd option, to just use it to run any 400w hps bulb
bulbs and ballasts were bought at the same time and used for less than 2 mths. as you can see from the pic that the bulbs are barely burned in and most dont even show any signs of being fired.
phillips master color ceramic metal halides, have better lumen maintenance than standatd metal halides ( meaning they dont go downhill as fast) . they also produce a bright, clean, white light that vegging plants love, if you put your hand under the bulb, it looks like natural sunlight !
admittedly not the best flower light, but vegging plants love the bright white light. and you still have the option of using ushio optiblue metal halides for flowering, or any 400w hps bulb.
these ballasts typically retail for $165 +, and the phillips mastercolor 400 watt ceramic metal halides typically retail for $40+
we are asking $125 for ballast bulb combo.
ballast and bulbs appear as almost new, no box, comes with 110/120 volt powercord (which could also be wired as a 220volt cord, we may also have actual 220v cords available) does not include fixture/reflector.
all ballast/bulb combos are guaranteed to work.
(in the unlikely event, any properly wired ballast/bulb combo, that does not fire reliably will be refunded or replaced at our discretion)
