USED Custom Growing Cabinet

Up for sale is this custom growing cabinet for your indoor herbs and flowers. I custom designed and built this over 8 years ago from a new tall storage cabinet, and if your question is "does it work and does it produce quality?". All I can say is YES and I have put it through about 7-8 growing cycles over the years. Think of it as your own little personal grow lab for your botanical adventures!
It has the following sections:
- Upper Storage
- Vegetating/Cloning/Seedling Chamber
- Electrical
- Flowering Chamber
Some of the features that I designed into it:
- Generous upper storage to keep all necessary nutrients and growing supplies inside the cabinet and not scattered everywhere.
- Whole circulation system which pulls air from a passive intake up top, then through every section and exiting through the filtered flowering chamber. When the doors are closed, the cabinet creates a vacuum that circulates the air. In the pics, you`ll see the tubes and channels from one section to the next.
- Dual sockets for 2 horizontal CFL bulbs in the vegging chamber. I recommend changing these to higher wattage CFLs (I`ve gone up to 70w per bulb).
- 400-watt HPS fan-cooled light in the flowering chamber. Only the bulb is wired to the chamber, electrical components for the HPS are up above in the electrical chamber.
- Power strip w/ breaker reset in both vegging and flowering chambers to plug in your various accessories.
- Heavy-duty flowering light timer (actually made for outdoor applications)
- High-quality 12"x4" carbon filter w/ blue pre-filter wrap. Carbon can be replaced and I recommend doing so. 2 twin 110v fans draw air out.
- Although soil can be used if you prefer, the cabinet was designed and has been used for bubble hydroponics. I`ll be including 2 VERY WELL used DIY containers I`ve used for years, so they can be used many, many times over still. They include net pots, bubblers, and an air pump for each container. The vegetating container has space for 5 plants and a self-feeding setup for 4 cuttings/seedlings. The flowering container holds 4 flowering plants and has a metal screen for training plant flowers into a concave "bowl" shape. All containers and materials can be cleaned and sterilized and used over and over. This cabinet was designed to have numerous plants in different stages so you can produce crop after crop in succession.
- Thermometer in Vegetating and Flowering chambers.
- Cabinet has key lock added, and 50-ft. power cable out of the rear.
- IMPORTANT: I recommend plugging this cabinet into an outlet that has ground-fault protection.
- Cabinet is 7 ft tall x 3 ft wide x 21 inches deep. Bring a big pick up or van, 2 people to carry, and a careful driver since this cabinet is fairly fragile.
I`m including a spare 400w bulb, and all the various USED nutrients and additives you see in the pics; which makes it even more of a deal. You may just need to buy some lava rocks to get started.
If you`ve been shopping around online, you`ll see what I`m including and the design of the cabinet is easily worth what I`m asking. YES, it`s all DIY and custom-made, but a lot of thought and creativity went into this, and it`s not some dinky grow set-up on eBay costing several hundred to thousands of dollars online that produce weak plants.
I`m selling this (and I hate to let it go), but we`re moving to a smaller place and I won`t have room for it. My loss is someone else`s new education. This should be for a intermediate-to-advanced grower ONLY. Modifications and repairs WILL require a DYI kind of person since this cabinet and everything in it is custom-built!!
